[Wanted] Single Boost Alloy (Genuine New/Unused)
I am after one single GENUINE LR 16in Boost Alloy.

I am only interested in a new/unused alloy - not anything that is marked or scuffed or requires tlc.

Not interested in any tyres - just the alloy please.

I can only really collect within Lancashire - otherwise it will need to be sent via courier which of course will be reflected in the price!

I don’t want to pay the silly money that new ones are selling for ‘on the high street’ as I’m a tight Censored .

I don’t want much really do I Rolling with laughter

PM me if you have a new one at a realistic price Thumbs Up

Thanks,

Will

l've got a brand new genuine LR boost alloy with tyre in my shed. What would you call a "sensible price"?

l used to buy these at around £500 a set new "take off" as it was actually cheaper than buying new tyres and getting them fitted.

This is the spare from the last set that l bought. Sadly as availability has dwindled so the prices have gone up.

Thanks for your reply Lightning.

I too have purchased a number of new take offs over the years - brand new genuine LR Boosts with 235 Continental Cross Contacts on them - typically circs £150 delivered. Same reason as you really.

There are generally a few on the auction site for around that price point, but the tyres are ‘of an age’ that may influence whether they sell.

If you look at the General section you’ll see a thread posing a similar question about price.

There’s a forum member offering a brand new take off for £100 but collection only.

I don’t want or need the tyre so that has no value to me, however others might want the combination.

I’d say £50-£70 would be my ‘sensible’ price for an alloy only but others may disagree - I’m not known for being sensible - I own a Defender for a start!

I have a “as new” boost. It currently has a tyre fitted, but I can remove that.
Are you in a rush for it?
You are welcome to it for £50.
I am near the bottom of the M6 if you happen to be ‘going down south’.
I will be up in the Lakes in March, but may be up before that.

Bob

Thanks for your reply Bob.

That’s a very sensible price for an ‘as new’ Boost without a tyre 👍

Ideally I’d want to acquire one this side of Christmas so let’s see how things pan out.

I may be visiting Shrewsbury in the new year so almost half way there…

I will get back to you 👍

Thanks Bob

I will have to get the tyre off, polish it and take a photo.
