Navi/GPS Reset?
Is there a way to force a location reset on the nav?

Mid trip, I had to do a 1000 point shunt with trailer attached to get out of a petrol station. I think the canopy of the petrol station was blocking the GPS and the cars "Dead-Reckoning" has now made it so out it can't get its location back.

It's been a couple of days now and it's not corrected itself, it actually now puts me about 5 miles off the coast in the Atlantic Rolling with laughter

So as above, is there a way to force the Navigation computer to reset so it forgets all data and resets?

Thanks

Have you tried a hard reset of PIVI, pressing the power button for about 10 secs until it shuts down then press to restart? 23.5MY 90 V8 Carpathian

Something similar happened to mine when it spent a few hours on a dyno. It ended up thinking it was almost in Lake Michigan from a lab in southeast Michigan. As far as I can tell, though, it straightened itself out immediately after seeing the sky again.

Solved:

I remembered that when you update the maps via USB, it takes a while to boot back up, so must be re-aquireing location.

So downloaded the new map version and installed that (45 mins), locked the car for an hour, went back and that seems to have solved it.
