I guess the DPF dillution is a known issue which would trigger an oil change alert, but it's not guaranteed to be this issue. You might have a faulty dilution sensor, a hole in the sump, or the oil service interval was set up incorrectly at the factory. It's hard to say. I definitely would not thrash it down the motorway for a couple of hours to see if that solves the problem! Laughing
For peace of mind's sake, and to avoid a potentially seriously ruinous bill, spend a couple of hundred to have LR look at it - (this is kinda what we've signed up for in owning these vehicles).

By the time mine had done 12,000 miles the oil had been changed twice. l don't subscribe to the 21,000 mile first oil change.
From now on it will get changed every 10,000
