Someone has modded it already by the looks of things. Ok, it’s only a lift and new rims but it’s a start

looks good, I've been to a couple of the Defender events at local dealers and Sherwood pines.

What you don't see in many media shots is it in raised mode, it gives it a much better stance and a glimpse at the potential of mods in the future. It looked much better at raised height just needed bigger tyres. 110 MY23.5 X Dynamic HSE

38's are not pointless. 38's are about the bare minimum to tackle 8+/10 OnX trails.

That being said, my 37's (tire, wheel and beadlock ring) weight about 130lbs/59kg each. I'm not sure the halfshafts of the Defender could support that kind of rolling mass. 2022 Defender 110 SE P400 Tasman Blue Expedition and Cold weather package

It's a little amusing to watch this conversation take place. Brits thinking huge tires are for show and Americans rattling off about ONX and some numbers.

Tad: ONX has no market penetration whatsoever in Europe so you might as well be talking Chinese, and
Lightning: there are definitely people who use their 'rigs' so that tires that size are necessary. (an ozzie once told me a rig is a stud bull down under, so now every time someone speaks of their 'rig', my mental image is of a bull with an angry, red raging hard on Rolling with laughter )

The OnX trail ratings are the only borderline-objective way to quantify technical difficulty of offroad trails.

Now that I look at it, trail rating 6 has obstacles up to 3' (almost a meter) tall. 38's would definitely help with that. 2022 Defender 110 SE P400 Tasman Blue Expedition and Cold weather package

I guess it's good then, that someone is offering this modification so that larger off road wheels can be fitted.
