TD5 Fuel Gauge Not Working
Hi, I have a 2000 td5, the fuel gauge isn't working. Have had the fuel pump out and tested the sender with the multimeter which is all working ok.
I am thinking my next move is to test the gauge itself (all other gauges on the dashboard are working) but I am new to TD5 so just wanted to put the feelers out to see if there were any obvious things I am missing, read somewhere about it being linked to the speedo? Thanks in advance.

TD5 fuel gauges are quite cheap. You could buy one from Ebay and try it. lf it doesn't work, you can sell it on.

And it won't be a complete waste of time, at least them you'll know what it isn't.

Thanks, it was the wire through the chassis rail in the end. So clipped a new one to the rail and problem sorted.
