Problem charging P400E using Octopus and Zappi
My Zappi and Intelligent Octopus (OI) energy combination was working well the first few weeks. However ive had a few nights when IO has not charged my vehicle and it appears that the "EV is preventing charging" or "EV full" msg is showing on the Zappi app yet the battery has little charge.
I have ensured there are no timed events set in the car (because IO initiates the charging session) and my Zappi has no timed events either. Has anyone else had the same issue? 2024 L663 110 Defender P400e Carpathian Grey

so after an amount of web searching and reading of numerous "chats" I realise that there are a number of others who have experienced the same issue on multyiple brands of EV car.

For the benefit of those of you who have the Zappi/ Octopus Intelligent go combination, this fault can be worked around by setting the zappi to pre-condition the battery after each charge but limit the amount of charge to the minimum (to minimise cost). I have not had the problem since. 2024 L663 110 Defender P400e Carpathian Grey
