Hiya,
My daughter has just sent me this photo. A lady has just rolled her Range Rover over on the road my daughter lives on. It's a terraced street with cars always parked down both sides. It's genuinely a 10 mph road... Nobody has a clue how this has happened... š¤ Click image to enlarge Answers on a postcard... š 2002 Land Rover 110 Td5 Utility 1990 Suzuki GSXR 1100L 1980 Yamaha RD 350LC 1976 Yamaha RD 400C |

based on the odd angle of the front wheel in the air & the crunched wing on the gold Beetle(?) on the right it rolled up the tyre of the parked car & flipped, despite 70 odd ecu's stabilisation systems anti roll bars etc - scary!
Suppose the driver panicked and planted their right foot on the accelerator and not the brake, or was it in rock climbing setting? |

Nearside front wheel at full lock (?) Left is a good spot BUT there appears to be no damage to that corner of the Rangey...
Could a failed steering component be the culprit..?? It's virtually inconceivable that she was speeding. I don't even drive down there in my Landy - I park at the end of street. Yes, with all of the sensors, ecu's and technology how the hell did it top over at low speed on a well paved road.... She probably should get a 2CV with the insurance money..š 2002 Land Rover 110 Td5 Utility 1990 Suzuki GSXR 1100L 1980 Yamaha RD 350LC 1976 Yamaha RD 400C |

Mystery solved - it did catch the Beetle at low speed with its NSF wheel. It literally drove up the Beetle and rolled over as ickle suggested.
Damaged the Beetle and the car on the opposite side that the Rangey came to rest against.I The driver of the RR was unhurt but shaken... I can't decide if I'm impressed by this - or frightened.... 2002 Land Rover 110 Td5 Utility 1990 Suzuki GSXR 1100L 1980 Yamaha RD 350LC 1976 Yamaha RD 400C |
