Adaptive Volume - its being dumb

Hello

During our road trip, I noticed something particularly annoying about the volume in our L663 (I believe it has the standard, non-upgraded stereo).

The beginning of a song will be noticeably louder - especially in the bass, then it will quiet down after 5 seconds or so. Also during "quieter" parts of songs, it will juice up the volume only to blow our ears out when the hook kicks back in again. Extremely annoying. I get the idea of the adaptive stereo volume but I find it one of those "features" that is superfluous - its being fancy for fancy's sake. A volume knob is the easiest thing in the world to use.

This happens when playing music through both Android Auto or Carplay and on SiriusXM so its not source related.

Does anyone know if this "feature" needs to be calibrated or if it can be disabled entirely? It's one of those things that drives me batty. 2022 Defender 110 SE P400 Tasman Blue Expedition and Cold weather package

Wel, that's another feature l don't have in my lead-in model 90 Commercial.

l am liking this Defender more every day.

I am sure it will be possible to turn the feature off in yours. Every car audio system l have had with this feature has had an option to adjust or disable it.

To my knowledge there is no adaptive volume or settings in the Pivi audio section

What I really do miss is :
Automatic Sound. - adjusts the level of the music according to your driving speed and surrounding noise .

Got it on my Blaupunkt MP72 Los Angeles , worked perfectly No Mud flaps for my 90.!
