Can anyone recommend an alternative company to allisport for a 110 v8 radiator? Thanks

I am currently looking into this too, and initially I was all in for the B-A-S HI FLOW Defender Performance Intercooler until I got notified by them with this:
Now I'm wondering what to choose between - AlliSport NEW LIFT-Pro I've got contrasting feedback on them https://www.allisport.com/shop/performance...th-air-con - Alive Ultimate Defender Intercooler https://www.alivetuning.com/product/alive-...tercooler/ - SERCK Performance Aluminium Intercooler (just I don't get the different between their fast-road and off-road models) https://www.serckmotorsport.co.uk/shop/coo...fast-road/ |

Well, I can’t comment on the intercoolers, but my allisport radiator didn’t last two years until it started leaking. Given your email and L110 CDL ( Clayton’s ) recommendation I’d be happy to go with Serck. Unfortunately they don’t list a radiator for my 110.

I’d probably be going to PWR for a rad or intercooler if it was me

My Allisport experience was terrible.
V8 radiator lasted less than 2000 miles before it started leaking, they didn't want to know and wouldn't stand behind their product. Currently having a motorsport company fabricate one to my spec using a PWR core. 1989 90 4.3 V8 2012 L405 OF 2014 D4 HSE Lux (SOLD) 2015 90 HT (SOLD) @d9o.mf |

I had alisport rad std 300tdi size in my tgv truck cab and a std width 300tdi high flow intercooler on there.
Have an alisport intercooler.on my 110, 108k miles Had a custom twin fan v8 triple pass rad on my tray back, rear mounted. Currently have two of their intercooler/rad packs m57 specific on my 184 and 231 converted defenders. I haven't had any problems with any of them build wise, lead.times are terrible though. I was in the same boat as you not wanting to go down the allisport intercooler route as mine didn't last long as it should of, so i looked for an alternative and i found that Airtech did a full size intercooler for my Tdi, so far so good 1996 Golf Blue 300Tdi 110 Pick up. Keeper. Clayton. |

Clayton, I hope you didn’t chuck it? Allisport intercoolers have lifetime warranty, send it back and they will sort you out. WARNING.

Well, they did offer to look at mine, but they have a twelve month warranty I think, which mine was outside of by about a year. I don’t do massive mileage and even if it was fixed, I wouldn’t trust it and won’t be buying anything else from them. What company are you using now? |

Are you saying Allisport offered to look at and fix a radiator that was a year out of warranty but you declined? WARNING.

The impression I had was although that it was clearly out of warranty and they offered to have a look, a repair was unlikely.
