Very good. I’ve often thought that some kind of pod would allow one to sleep in the 90 but with a bit of security with the door open.

Nice work, mate!
I've got a much less pretty plan in mind for my next camping trip... The only thing I haven't solved yet is how to stop rain running along the roof and under the tarp. Yours looks pretty well covered with the roof tent. But with nothing on my roof, I haven't quite worked out how to stop water running rearwards, and dripping off the roof onto the bumper/my breakfast bar... There's not a gutter. I need a dam running across the roof some how.. I could always park angled a little downslope, but that's not always possible. Maybe I will finally find a use for the remote tailgate lift feature... Any ideas welcome |

Rubber foam tap with the sticky out of it? But surely the spoiler will divert?

It seems to be the only logical solution to this incredibly important issue, I'll run it past my business manager... It's the first time I've actually found a potential use for a spoiler on a Defender - sadly, I didn't opt for the Adrian Newey pack.. There is a joint / channel in the roof configuration which I'm wondering if it'll be sufficient. I am tempted to channel my GCSE physics teacher and use a strip of absorbent rope and the joys of capilliary action. But I've also ordered a roll of £5 weather strip. Not too thrilled about potential residue though, so I will probably whack a line of masking tape down first and apply the weather strip on top. Not sure if it'll unadhere with moisture, but at this point, the details are getting silly. |

I did buy a cheap £60 rear spoiler to act as a rain diverter, to help follow the 'blue' line of flow, whilst parked.

That's absolutely brilliant!! I'm going to look around for some pre-made telescoping pole segments and maybe 3D print some 90 degree joints and some blocks that can slot into the factory roof rails (for those of us w/o a roof rack setup) and make something like what you've come up with! Great job! -------------------------------- "Chonky" 2024 Defender 110 X-Dynamic SE P400, Pangea Green, Air Suspension, Off Road Pack, Urban Pack (exposed recovery points), Factory Side Steps |

I built this for my L663, with a nod to the old Defenders. |
