Can’t knock them for the price, good off road and on, fitted a set to my old hicap a couple of years ago that a colleague of mine now owns and they look like they have barely worn

Son #1 is running a set on his off-roaded/daily driver Jimny and about 12 months in have nothing bad to say about them. He commutes Lake district to Manchester about twice a month and they seem to behave well on tarmac but time will tell how they wear. They seem like a good value substitute for the BFG AT on the face of it. If only they did them in 255/85R16 I would be buying a set of x5 without hesitation......

Brilliant, thanks both.
I think I’m going to order some then and get rid of the old Conti’s. 2008 2.4 110 Utility Station Wagon XS. |

I had the RT+ they are a very hard compound and found them pretty lethal in the wet. Would slip and slide all of the place. Stopping distance was a concern. Instagram @defender_ventures

Click image to enlarge Really pleased. Had them fitted and went on a weekend trip of 500 miles and I was pleased how quiet they are on the road. 2008 2.4 110 Utility Station Wagon XS. |
