Go Compare!
Having just had a quote to renew my policy on an old 2005 SAAB worth 4K for £661 with Footman & James I thought I'd try Go Compare - never done it before but £228 is the best quote they give, it cuts a lot of stuff out that I don't want, recovery etc so business is going elsewhere!! F&J want a similar amount for the Defender renewal Shocked

Apologies for another insurance thread but anyone else got any good tips for cheap insurance before I sign up?

United Kingdom 2015 Defender 110 Puma 2.2 USW Corris Grey
Probably new business discounts Zag, they'll more than likely hike it back up next year. Steve.
Owned numerous Land Rover vehicles of all shapes and sizes over the decades.
Current Defender: A non tarts hand-bagged Puma 110 XS USW.

[Insert something impressive here such as extensive list of previous Land Rovers or examples of your prestigeous and expensive items, trinkets, houses, bikes, vehicles etc]

Maybe they know the weight of all that underseal will make a Saab handle like a duvet with a spacehopper on each corner? 2008 RS4 gone, 123d M Sport, and a Puma 90 XS..

Laughing Your not kidding, it's the worse thing to tow with - goes side to side more than up and down Shocked The rear suspension is renowned for being crap on them. We towed a caravan for 60 miles with ours and the kids were decidedly green on arrival Mr. Green
