Hi all,
Well, I replaced my OEM type LR spotlights (which leaked) with a pair of roolight 180s (yes, I know they're Liteforce copies). I have them mounted on an A Bar, and they come on with full beam. Since, like the Liteforce they have adjustable 'focus', I'd like to get the mean size/focus correct for general night driving, mostly on-road. So, my questions are: - What do others use, focus-wise? I know the aussies use the lights with one set ot spot and the other to flood, but I'm happy with both at the correct beam size. - How should they be positioned, relative to the high beam pattern from the headlights? Higher? Lower? The same? Anyone got any suggestions as to ohw to stop them wobbling slightly on bumpy ground? Any help appreciated.... ![]() 2010 110 XS USW (the slow one) 1960 Alfa Romeo Giulietta SZ (the fast one) 2005 Ducati ST3 1954 Sunbeam S8 |

The rear of my Liteforces were only about 20mm from my grille so I just adhered some high density foam behind the lights which packed out the gap and stopped any vibration. Worked a treat. ![]() Treat every day as if it is your last....one day you will be right!! |
