Defender 90 Puma Rear Window Trim question.
Hi Folks,

Please help! Question

Just got my Defender 90 back from its annual service at Lookers and they’ve ripped off some of the rear sliding window’s felt / foam (unsure what the material is?!).

Is this needed to keep the window water tight or is it just to stop rattling?!

I appreciate asking a water and rattle question on our Defender forum will bring giggles!

I’d deeply appreciate some guidance please. Do I need to tape this all up as I wait for Lookers to get the material in to fix it?

Many Thanks Thumbs Up

There is a small gap in mine on both ends. It just stops the windows rattling. If your window is not rattling it is O.K. You can get replacments on line and there are videos on line and links here on fitting the new felt. It is not difficult. 1982 88" 2.25 diesel
