The Defender will be traded in against another vehicle on 17th August 2024.
Therefore I am willing to let my vehicle go to the highest bidder against the trade price however the transaction needs to be completed by 16th August and vehicle picked up etc. I will be applying to get the private plate removed - however I need to get the form off to the DVLA as it cannot be done online (due to the vehicle being SORN as it was in a private collection) So please contact me if you want to purchase my vehicle with your best price. Hi,
I thought it may be due to me being in the wrong part of the country and people not wanting to travel. Also I definitely priced it too high at the beginning due to not understanding the current market conditions. However I think that the squeeze on people's pockets is taking effect. As a trader I have noticed pumas are extremely slow to sell these days so it's just a case of being patient. Trouble is people can generally get XS models for sub 20k now, Yours even though is nice is not a XS and is priced up there.
My advice would be to put it back to standard and sell it for the usual price of a county on the open market. I sold this 2007 90 county station wagon one last year for circa 16,500, it was fairly standard aside from the rack/ wheels and led headlights, I think it had done 90k so yours being half the miles should fetch a little more in the current climate. I do not know the retail price in 2008 but I did pirchase a 2014 90 XS in 2014 and that was £33k - Land Rover S2a
