Front Hub Leaking Grease

Hello - the front passenger side hub on my 1993 110 has started leaking grease. Please see attached. Only just noticed it. The swivel housings were replaced a few months ago. Wondered if anyone could give me guidance on a possible cause / urgency for repair. Thank you.

Possibly a blocked axle/diff breather. That’s what caused a similar issue for me. Assume it’s to do with different pressures inside and outside causing blow by.

Thank you. Thinking about it, i only noticed it after doing some fairly rough and wet trails in her.

Check wheel bearings don’t have any play and are overheating the grease.

Thank you. I will try that. If it is a blocked breather, how does one unblock / clean it?

You’re missing the hub cap, which is why it’s leaked out.

Get genuine replacements, the aftermarket ones are terrible.

i do actually have the plastic hub cap, just removed it for the photo. The grease makes it way past the hub cap which i don't think is normal.

Then it needs replacement, it should be a fairly tight fit and a good seal.

Get a genuine cap, they are more expensive but they don't leak.
