2014 Defender - improving rear view mirror ball joint

Dear all,
i've inherited a Road Angel Halo Vision 2K HD Front & Rear Dash Cam & LCD mirror screen sold by Halfords when I purchased a 2014 110 Defender.

The mirror screen is fixed to the original rear view
mirror by straps. The weight of the mirror screen is too heavy and everything (original LR rear mirror and the Road Angel element) flops down and can't be used.

Does anyone know if it is possible to purchase a "beefed"
up rear view mirror mounting arm with an improved ball joint that could take the weight of the combined unit?

The road angel unit includes a dash cam
and is linked to a rear view camera - quite useful i think.

Any suggestions would be gratefully received.
