could be the switch acting up or the relay sticking. Id try the relay 1st, when i have had trouble with the indicators/ hazards, i have thought it been the switch/ stalk, turned out to be the relay having a one. Defender TD5 90 ---/--- Peugeot 306 HDI hatch back

I think the switch is OK, if I can trace back from the rear of the car along the loom I can sort it out.
Not sure where the relay is for the rear wiper 1999 Defender TD5 110 Regards John M0VAZ Econet Station 48 no clock |

No rear wiper relay on pre 2002MY Defenders. It’s all done in the switch.
Diagram: https://www.lrworkshop.com/wiring-diagram/...rs-washers Fuse 3 supplies ignition 12V to header 285 (C0285) on pin 1. Pin 2 supplies the rear door park switch, pin 4 supplies the rear wash/wipe switch. Pin 2 goes to connector pair C0377/C0391 pin 3. These are the 6 pin grey chassis loom connectors near the coolant bottle. It then goes to the rear door connector pair C0704/C1102 pin 1 1988 90 Td5 NAS soft top 2015 D90 XS SW |
