Gap between tyre and wheel arch 20" 5098s
I've got a 24' plate 110 on 20" 5098s and coil suspension.

Is there a way to reduce the gap between the tyre and wheel arch without doing anything to the suspension? Would swapping to 22" 5098s still have the same problem?

Cheers!

The rim/tire combination has an outer diameter and this should stay the same (for type approval, insurance etc). So by increasing the rim size your tire will get thinner and it would not make a difference in the clearance.

Now you could select a different tire (bigger) you would be outside of type approval, not sure how serious they look at that in the UK, but in Norway for instance you would fail your MOT and your gearing/speedometer/odometer would be off - the latter you might be able to correct in soft ware setting
