Looks quite good, they always were expensive.

Design reminds me a bit of the Hummer H3, which is good, quite utility.

Prices though, yes, far too high overall. Rolling Eyes $W33T $0U7H3RN $UG4R

Hmmm... I received the e mail from Toyota this morning and I must admit that I had to do a double take when I saw the price..

To be fair the price is probably right

a 110 with a few options ticked is well over £75K

All new cars seem expensive for what they are, I can add the price of my old defender in extras to the new one Smile

I would think the Landcruiser would come quite well spec'd as bought also.

Land Cruisers are great vehicles and very well screwed together. I have a 27 year old one which I daily. I keep it well maintained. The one big problem with them ( like a Disco 1/2) is that the chassis rust badly especially at the back. Once they get to 10 years old you really need to inspect them carefully.
I hope they have improved chassis protection on this new one although I haven’t heard that they have.
I’ll wait until they are 3 years old and see what the depreciation is like.

I believe they are popular in Gulf states and in the Amazon and remote places like that.

I expect it’s perceived they are more reliable, but when I’ve seen one on Tv it broke down one of them so you just never know. Whistle $W33T $0U7H3RN $UG4R

I have a deposit down on one. I'm still not sure because it's only a four pot. I'm talking to the dealer about a test drive so we'll see.

I still miss the tailgate on the D3/4 Sad Eiger Grey MY23 D250 SE with bits. Known as Noddy.

Thought this was quite a nice example of a D4:

Maybe if they didn’t start at $55,000 in the US. That’s without their ~10% tax, but even accounting for that and adding VAT that’s only about £53,000. Quite some markup for UK buyers.

A lot of motor for the money, but I would be paranoid about the crank snapping every time I drove it Big Cry

The 2.7 D3 we had was undoubtedly the best family car we ever had, but the eye watering bills once the warranty ran out meant it was time to say goodbye.

Price is high compared to the last model. The short wheel base version on the MY22 price started with a 2 for the commercial variant and went up from there. 75-80k was about as much as you could spend.

Wonder if someone on here bought it (the D4) - it was a nice example. Thumbs Up

I was looking at the Jeep Trackhawk the other day, that is quite some machine! Shocked
