Fun fact about the P400e
Took delivery of my P400e a month ago, and one of the things we talked about during the handover is how the 12V battery is actively charged by the PHEV battery. Meaning all the problems associated with the 12V battery drain is rectified as long as you have some juice left in the PHEV battery. If you know you’ll need the 12V battery power just put the car in “save” mode a bit before arrival.

The PHEV battery is also recharged in Save mode. I went on my first really long journey yesterday (325 miles) and switched between Hybrid and Save depending on the traffic conditions. It seems to recharge up to 20 miles but not go any further.

You can get 100% its just that the last 20% takes almost as long as the first 80%, but that's the same whether you are using regenerative charging or hooked up to the mains.

When regenerative charging in Save Mode I have found that using the cruise control significantly increases the speed at which the battery charges. Current: MY22 P400e SE

I'll give it a try on the reverse 325 mile journey home on Friday, although I did use a lot of cruise control, including its very aggressive braking when someone pulls out in front of you. I eventually started anticipating that.
