Wipac LED light conversion
Hi all, basically I’ve changed my 2012 defender to a 2007 and I swapped over my wipac clear lense LED set but the indicators are flashing too fast, I didn’t fit these the first time round so I wasn’t aware anything else needed changing. Is there a relay in the kit when you buy LED conversion lights, indicators, side and tail not headlights. Thank you.

You need a LED indicator relay https://boltonbits.co.uk/rdx-4-pin-flasher-relay.html

All will be revealed when you read the Product Description Thumbs Up

Thank you for that, I will get that if I need to but if I swap the relays over between the one with standard and the LED that should work shouldn’t it?

yes if your old car worked fine then in theory that has had a different relay fitted so swapping to the new one will solve
BUT it may have had a wiring 'work-around' like adding an extra halogen bulb in-line if you never did the work originally

The relay swap should work ok, and you will see if you have a non standardised relay when you compare the two. Most of the led relays are adjustable so you may need to fiddle a little.

Thanks for your help everyone. I’ll swap them over and go from there.
