L663 stowage of Bridging Boards

Ive had a platform on top the the spare wheel for some time now, the bridging boards fit well and do not clash with the rear wiper.

Hi LR Nuts

Where did you get the platform from? Do you have any idea as to the maximum weight the spare wheel can support. I'm trying to find a solution for stowing my dog ramp, which is too large to get in the back of the car with the dog at the same time.

Where did you get the platform from?

This platform was a custom build. Much of what I have is built in my workshop.

any idea as to the maximum weight the spare wheel can support.

I don't. I feel the carrier is not overloading the tailgate.

I bought my rear carrier from Bison. Really well made and you have the advantage of no import duty! Eiger Grey MY23 D250 SE with bits. Known as Noddy.
