Insurance and non standard tyres
I’m due my new 110 in a month or so and it’s coming on 20” wheels with the road spec tyres.

I have always had good experience with BFG ATs and would like to run either 275/55 or 265/60 20s however this would probably annoy some insurance companies and I don’t want to invalidate mine.

What insurance companies are people using that don’t mind changes to the tyre sizes

Problem I expect is legislation more than insurance.

In the EU type approval documents the tire size options are stated. In Norway I know it is part of the MOT. Not sure how the UK has implemented these rules, but they are likely based on the legacy EU rules which normally states the type approval requirements must be maintained.
