Will ask my daughter if she wants to go but I think she has done enough bouncing about in the series 111. She prefers the Puma! 1982 88" 2.25 diesel

Some more info.
We are back for 2024! The N.I Land Rover Club have once again given the go ahead for the Off Roading event of the year!
A week later than normal due to nesting birds, the event will this year be on Saturday the 3rd August 2024, with the stunning backdrop of Slemish mountain, come along to Ballynulto Quarry to enjoy the thrills of an off road vehicle. Take it in turns to select your favourite vehicle and the owner will take you and your family around the off road course in the quarry. Hold on tight as you help navigate the hills, mud and rough terrain.
The event is fully insured and licenced by Motorsport UK. Open to people of all ages with special needs and their families. 1982 88" 2.25 diesel

Lovely idea - other clubs should take notice.
Hope your daughter (and you) enjoy it 👍

When I was a Ranger in the North West we started "GO 4x4 It" with Red Rose Land Rover club.

aimed at people with Mobility issues to get out into the real countryside.

worked with Local PHAB Clubs and got a Grant from the Prices Trust.

Used lots of Byroads in Lakes and Yorkshire and used it as evidence against the National Parks to keep the routes open as Access for all.

Moved away now so not sure if it is still going.

great scheme though, connecting people of different backgrounds and experiences.
