Just a comment about the load on 5th and 6th gear with 70mph (which is ~112km/h).
Based on UG display - the load on 6th gear, especially with low revs is definitely higher than on 5th gear with 2,5-3k rmps. I assume it is due to fact that there is visible lack of power on 6th gear, and any speed up, uphill etc make immediately big effort for th engine (simply not enough HPs)
There is great chance that using 6th gear with low rmps you 'pollute' more your DPF, then if you run 5th gear with higher rmps, which seems to be a bit more optimal for this engine. Also - when you run below 110km/h (68mph?), normal DPF cleaning can be triggered as required, so the passive cleaning is not so critical.
But in general - I agree with other colleagues - do not focus too much on diagnostic tools, they trigger more questions then helps Wink

I wouldn't get to hung up on the % soot levels..
You really would need to know what all the criteria were , that are used in determining it.., and whilst the differential pressure sensor is undoubtedly the most important I'm sure there area few others others..
It would be good to compare diff press sensor output with scan tool % soot levels but whatever the % soot level stated i wouldn't be to concerned as long as the differential pressure sensors reading was not high...ie 2 or 3 psi perhaps..
And the other thing to note is you are not getting the orange dpf warning light...so all should be OK , and if you do get it up try and record the soot level % when it's activated and the differential pressure reading at the time..

I just had a look at what sensors my OBD app shows and can't find anything relating to differential pressure. Would this be called something else by chance?

I can't recall seeing any data available on the scan tool I have either ..or the torque app I use..
I use a scope to check sensor signals and can use it to check exhaust pressures , but as the dpf is no longer an issue I have to deal with🫣 I've not been looking at that sort of data..

I worry about mine a lot less than I used to. I have toyed with the idea of taking out the dpf for a thorough clean, or changing the differential pressure sensor, or getting the injectors tested, etc, but it drives really well and so for now I'm leaving it be.

For euro 5 cars the engine + exhaust gas system + emission is certified for 160 000 kms
