My first Landy registered from new as an ambulance - I’m a complete newbie to this loud large rude meccano set - hoping to feel the magic this summer

Welcome to the forum , I notice a series has photo bombed your picture. Which is always a good start. Very Happy

Ps. As you approach other “old style” defenders, Land Rover’s and series don’t forget to wave / return a wave. It’s all part of ownership Very Happy

PPS. Does Nessa normally go out half dressed , where is her front bumper ?

Hello and welcome!
Whats the interior set up like? Looks perfect for a camper if not already, lots of headroom too!
As Ianh said, don't forget to wave - just watch out for those sneaky Ineos' Laughing Nearly got caught a couple times now! The Yeti - 110 Camper https://www.defender2.net/forum/topic90308.html

Hi both Ians thanks for the responses - I will deffo wave

what are those refs to photo bombed and Ineos?

she has a bumper now this was the day I first met her - now looking for a reliable spares option - need door seals pretty seriously and the back glass is broke but is safe for now.

I will add new pics here later have been doing soundproofing etc so nothing much to see yet but the headroom was the big plus for me - I can just stand up in the back but I'm only 5.3

Looks like a Series 1 stationwagon in the background photo bombing the 110 picture.

Ineos Grenadiers are very defender like when approaching in the opposite direction and you might find yourself caught out and giving them a wave by mistake. It's not as bad as waving to the current model Defenders, which aren't really defenders at all except for the badges..... Whistle
