They’ve charged up enough to now communicate then.

Sadly not.
lt's gone off again. lt looks like those readings were the last known values, which it defaulted to after being reset. Now it's back to four X's So l think it's time to get the sensors fitted from my old wheels. |

UPDATE
Had some new TPMS sensors fitted (there were indeed none in the wheels l bought from Ebay) Within a few miles the tyre pressures came back on screen, and the warning light went off. All has been fine since. l thought l had better try my other set of spare "take off" wheels, which l bought in early 2023. Fortunately these do have TPMS sensors still present as the Defender synced with them within a couple of miles. These are now for sale if anyone wants a set of five brand new steel wheels with tyres. |
