United Kingdom 2009 Defender 110 Puma 2.4 USW Stornoway Grey
1st impressions
Collected my 110 CSW today from Somerset. After near 200 miles, mixture of A roads and motorways, I have to say I'm quite impressed with the TDCi motor. Strong pulling motor but smooth enough to OK on m/ways and dual carriageways. The TD5 was good but I think this has the slight edge. Time will tell.

Love the Stornoway Grey colour and the utility load space instead of a 3rd row of seats.

Post some pics tomorrow.

Glad you enjoy your drive back.

Enjoy your future with it. Just remember that as a USW lower speed limits applied.

Yes, very good experience so far. Vehicle superbly prepared and a thorough "hand over" undertaken. Smart operation with lots of good defenders for sale. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. If you're passing it's worth taking a look round.

Yeh, we went down there a few weeks ago, as we were building an Oak frame studio nearby.
They were very professional and fun.
Test drove a 110 USW and were ready to buy from them, then discovered you have no vat to claim back on second-hand cars.
So we went for two new ones, which after deducting vat were almost the same price as a 2year old one!
Their website is great.

We collect ours on Monday, very exciting.

Roughly whereabouts in Cheshire are you?

North of Chester area.

I've been looking for a 110 for some time and most that I've seen are advertised plus VAT, which put me off in most cases. The thing that attracted me to LRUK was firstly their website and secondly when I went down to Somerset for a look round I found the standard of their vehicles to be very good. The staff were helpful too. I put off making my choice until I spotted the 110 that I eventually bought. Had a drive of it and my mind was made up within minutes.

We are just off the A41 10miles South of Chester.
Will keep my eyes out for you.

Yes, all their vehicles look great and they only deal with quality stuff, from what I see.
