Brazilian Defender…
Hi all, I purchased a 1999 TD5 5 door 110 Defender. I am having it restored in Brazil. I speak Portuguese and have friends there, so I thought, why not!! It will be a body-off restoration. So I figure while I’m in there, there may be a few things to do. I would appreciate ANY recommendations for what to replace or upgrades to do.
This will be a daily driver and camping vehicle.

I don’t want to weigh the vehicle down and would like to keep it as light as possible to make the driving enjoyable.

The engine will remain as it is. I’m super excited to have a diesel engine again!

My must-haves are:
Insulation and sound deadening.
New gaskets and seals.
Rust protection for the chassis.
Swaybars
New doors all around.

Things I plan to add Stateside:
Power locks ( which I think I can add fine once stateside)
Backup camera.
PIONEER CAR DMHWT8600NEX
Scheelman seats
Fox Shocks

Thanks for your input.
