Wise ones
Now the merits of a catch can have been well documented in this parish, however I thought I’d share my install. Now my Puma has both aircon and a clutch booster which made finding a site a little tricky. Eventually I settled on the gap at the back of the engine behind the dip stick. Click image to enlarge As it goes there is a threaded hole in line with the dipstick mount which lends itself to a nice bracket mount site, so I whipped up an Ali plate with some rivnuts to mount the can ( hoping for monumental performance gains from the weight reduction holes) Click image to enlarge Anyway I nailed it all in, piped it up with some diesel hose and there you go, catch can fitted Click image to enlarge She’s a snug fit but nothing is chafing and you can sort of get to the clutch fluid reservoir. This is a bit niche, but you never know Wes Oh woe, oh woe My crusty old landrover, It will not go. |

Neat install👍
I'd be interested in hearing how much you collect in it over a period of time..if you do updates to your post I've never noticed a lot of oil in my breather pipe.. Just damp oily deposit on the walls, so assumed the filter set up in the cover was doing its job.. |
