HELP !!! I cant decide on which wheels to get for daily driving ??? FYI i wont be offroading in these as i as getting other wheels and tyres for this...
YES, i know they are 20" and its a sticky subject with some, but i think they would look great on my black 110 seen as it will only really be used on tarmac ! I would think 20" rims would give an unbearbly harsh ride on anything other than perfect tarmac... Defender suspension could hardly be described as supple

20" rims and those tyres on a Defender is as useful as sticking MTs on 16s on a Ferrari - just don't!
The other ones look decent but IMO 16s are the best rim size. Defender 110XS SW gone... now VW California 180 4 Motion. |

Get one set of wheels & tyres that will do everything. By the sounds of it, your going to be doing a little of everything.
Just get some ATs from one of the manufacturers (Research this) then wack them on some alloys 16" would be fine (not 20") and drive your truck, then you wont have to worry about driving up a curb or over some cow sh*t. I really wouldnt go with 20" then have the hassle of swapping them over to go offroad. There is no point. But, its your money, YOU will be driving it and maintaining it, so if YOU like them, and YOU will be happy with them get them. Easy as that... i would have the top ones definatly, once again all for there own though. you have got to think what is right for you what do you prefer opinions are good but many people are one sided i used to have 16inch rims with bfg mud terrains everyone said no, to big, wrong size width wheel for the tyre etc etc but i had no problem with them, this is the same for the 20's which i have just brought. many people said no dont do it but i listened to the minority who run 20's and say that they are fine. i have no problem driving the 90 with the 20inch rims neither did i when i had the mud terrains on. most people on here say no to the 20's but without actually driving a landy with the wheels on (no offense, but its probably true)
My 90 with 16inch rims 285/75/16 tyres no problem on road dont pull neither noisy and here are the 20's once again no pull or noise, slight wheel wobble nothing major no more than the big offroad tyres plus i prefer the look of the 20's |

As above.... get what YOU like, and want to see every time you look at your truck.
BUT, I feel I have to be the fun police today (no-one else has mentioned it yet)- What are the legal implications? Are the adapter hubs certified? Will your insurance company cover you for them?- Don't just say you have fitted 20" alloys- they will want to know that you are fitting hub adapters etc. Good luck in getting the look you want Glyn |

I think youve hit the nail on the head there mate... no point in throwing money away on 2 sets of tyres and wheels when i can get one set that will do the job and spend the rest on other mods that i want to do. The truck has Boost's on it now so i guess i just need to figure out tyres...265/75/16 BFG MT's should do just fine |
