Motul Autocool OAT Pink if that’s the colour it is:
https://www.tradeinn.com/motardinn/en/motu...lsrc=aw.ds Ready to use. On the Puma it’s the orange one however. IIRC when I researched it a lot, these met the LR specs though don’t hold me to that exactly. I have the orange one in mine (Puma) now, have had for quite a long time it’s been fine. I’m not too keen on concentrate versions, hence why I chose pre mixed. $W33T $0U7H3RN $UG4R 🇬🇧🏴🏴🏴🇮🇪🇺🇸⛽️🛢️⚙️🧰💪 |

There have been incompatible combinations in the past, causing fluids to gel etc. I think that is no longer the case but it keeps popping up as scare mongering.
The metals used in the cooling systems are all the same (aluminium, steel and plastic) and you need to be very unlucky or cheap to not get the right protection. A lot of coolants now are either long life or not so long life and mixing fluids can result in basically less longer lasting protection. Colours are by no means a guarantee for what it is and you need to look at the label to ensure compatibility Glycerol (old) Ethylene glycol, Propylene glycol, OAT, HOAT, POAT, SI-OAT and all the additives.. I presume LR published the makeup of the factory fill, but then sometimes they just insist on their own packaged product which inevitably is procured for as cheap as possible. Edit (Wikipedia): Si-OAT coolants mix silicates with HOAT. This technology is typically used in European makes and is often dyed pink. |

lt's like the oil, they make it really difficult to figure out so you end up paying nearly £30 for a one litre top-up from the dealer.
l guess it's just business. Spare parts is where the money is made. Last time l had a vehicle serviced by the main dealer they charged nearly £200 for engine oil, priced in 1/4 litre segments. This will be from their bulk oil stock and costs a fraction of that amount. |
