So just wondering, would you not hear a failing turbo and potentially avoid further damage or is this an instantanous event? I never had a Turbo fail on me (more of a natural aspirated guy, apart from my Td5)

*Update*

Just had the sump off, and the dreaded oil pump bolt is nice and tight at 25nm!

I’m completely stumped!

How is the condition of the oil pump strainer and the oil filters? Any sludge deposits found?
Had an engine loose all oil pressure due strainer being blocked. 1988 90 Hard Top, 19J Diesel Turbo, Shire Blue - Restoration ongoing
2012 90 CSW, 2.2TDCI, Santorini Black
