My best guess... The older trucks are almost certainly stripped for parts. Not so sure on the motivation behind pinching a PUMA. Obviously doors/bonnets have been a key target but not so sure about when the whole truck is pinched. Think the most galling thing I've read recently was the chap who had his 90 pinched by a prospective buyer on a test drive. The scumbag keeps truck for himself and goes to reasonable lengths to disguise it's identity. Truck is recovered after a tip off and some detective work by Pathfinder (forum member on here too). All great news and then after all that the truck gets torched in the 'secure' compound belonging to the recovery company employed by the local plod. How long before the Royal Navy "outsource" their work to Somalian ex-pirates - I'm sure they'd work for free in exchange for use of the warships Tell someone you love them today because life is short. But shout it at them in German because life is also terrifying and confusing... |
