2012 Defender 90 Puma 2.2 ST Santorini Black

Converting Defender 90 XS (2012) to Soft Top Questions

HI,

I'm just converting Def 90 XS (2012) to a soft top using the following equipment and need help with the following.
Exmore Heavy Duty Bar Set and StayFast roof.
Premium Galvanised Half Rear Door Tailgate from lrparts.net.
ORE half door wheel carrier .

1, The internal alarm sensor thats fitted just behind the drivers head, do i refit this to the new roll bar frame?

2, At the moment the rear door is part of the central locking, can i retain this with the hew half door?

3, If i can't retain the rear door central locking and just disconnect it is their anything required to be done to the alarm?

4, Anything else that may help

1. I wouldn't unless you want the alarm going off continuously. Just leave the volumetric sensor off altogether.

2.Probably provided that you can swap the parts from the old door to the new half door.
