The TPMS sensor is part of the valve but it's the part that is inside the wheel so it's difficult to tell from the outside whether you have them fitted or not. At one time the valve stems being metal would indicate that they had tpms valves fitted but now you can get sensors with black rubber stems also
 You can take the dust cap off and there may be TPMS marked on the brass section if not the only way to be sure would be to either break the bead on the tyre and have a look or fit one of the wheels, take the car for a short drive and see if it picks the sensor up. The sensors can be changed between wheels  Cheers Ian

I assume you’ve bought a take off set, in which case they should come with the sensors as you’d have to remove tyre, remove TPMS valve and fit a non tpms valve to remove them. Very unlikely by most people swapping them for larger alloys.
Easy to spot in person if they’re still there. When you fit them, just reset TPMS and after a few miles they’ll appear. |

If the TPMS throws up an amber light on the dash, it's an MOT failure.
