Loud Fan noise from rear of 110 Hardtop
Hi

Hope someone may have some insight! I turned my defender on earlier and there’s a random loud noise coming from the rear load space. There are Louvres above the rear arches where it is the loudest. It’s not related to the heating controls as it persists when they are turned off!

It’s going into Land Rover in February for apple car play issue so I have added this to the list but it is already driving me mad!

Thanks in advance

Update. Left the car for 30 mins and it’s stopped. Very strange

Fuel pump maybe? That makes a whirring noise. I haven't noticed much when I shut the car off other than something running under the hood which I assume is cooling the turbo off and is pretty normal on a turbo motor.

What's the Apple Car Play issue you are getting?

I’ve read mentions of this on one of the Facebook groups, think it was put down to the MHEV cooling fan, sorry no idea if it was a problem or not though.
