Awful crash - M5 nr Taunton
Aware that some of you are from Taunton (TJ101 included) - hope you are all okay?

We do a lot of work in the area so feel quite attached to it. Defender 110XS SW gone... now VW California 180 4 Motion.

From what I have heard the fatalities were not from this area.

No info on the badly wounded yet though.

Somebody I know near junction 24 dragged his family out of the house at about 8pm on the Friday to look at the strange fog bands going over the M5. There were no firework displays near them so it makes you wonder if the display at junction 25 was a factor or not.

What amazed me was there was an accident at almost the same spot on the Monday within an hour of them opening the northbound lanes up.
