Atoto F7XE 10 inch single din install
Finally got around to swapping out the broken head unit on my recently acquired 110, and android auto for me is a must. It was cleared a previous owner must've had a flip out screen in the past as a lot of the buttons had already been relocated so they wouldn't be obscured. Didn't really fancy swapping out the facia for double din and have been eyeing up the Atoto single din screen units. Pulled the trigger on the 10 inch screen which in hindsight might actually be a bit big!

Had to unpick a mess of old wiring but got it all neat and in.

Pros: Pretty easy to install. Comes with a dab+ receiver which I mounted to the screen, a wireless receiver for wireless carplay/android auto, a microphone for calling, and all the adapters and 3 different types of harnesses. Setup was an absolute breeze, plugged in the phone to start and paired up for wireless. Phone connects immediately on starting the ignition and it drops straight into android auto. No cable required. It also has inputs for front and rear cameras if you have any installed.

Cons: Sticks out a bit further than I'd like, I think it could be tigher back a bit but they've allowed for you to tilt the screen and also raise and lower.

Yeah if I'm honest I wish I'd gone for the 7" version, but hey ho, it's done now!

Dab is really good, works nicely and picks up just as many stations as in my Mercedes with a factory dab unit.

Sorry to resurrect an old thread.

Iโ€™m looking at one of these for my puma. Can you still get to all the buttons alright?

If you look at the first pic you can see a lot of my buttons had already been relocated by the previous owner. The remaining ones I can get to fine. The wide camera angle doesn't really show it properly as it makes it look like the screen is wider than the whole facia!

Very useful thank you.

I have fewer buttons than you, just need the hazards to be reachable!

What's pretty cool is there is a hidden menu you can only get to by setting the date and time to a certain setting. This then let's you select a custom boot logo, and there is a nice Land Rover one in there!

Well if you do, set the date and time to:
01/08/2008 and time 01:08 24 hour clock.

When you then go back into the settings the hidden boot logo menu will be there, scroll through all the manufacturers and Land Rover will be there. Once selected you can reset the date and time.

Another quick Q.

Handily for me, but maybe not you, we have the same head unit to start with. Did you need any additional wiring to get it up and running?

Excellent. Has it obscured many of your buttons?
