Mud stuff TDCi switches.
I’ve bought several of these switches for some lighting accessories in my 110.

Had a look today at the wiring diagram and have a (probably stupid ) question.

Here is the diagram.

There’s no numbers on the terminals so holding the switch in my hand with the terminals facing me should the icon on the switch be correct way up (this icon)

Thanks.

If you use a multi-meter in continuity mode and check pins 1 and 4 and you get either continuity with the switch pushed in or out then you will know which pins are which and work out the rest from there? 1999 Defender TD5 110

If they are like the other TD5/TDCI switches Mud sell then with the switch facing away from you but the right way up the pins go left to right (1-4). On these there is also one silver pin which is the earth pin and number 4.

These switches - https://www.mudstuff.co.uk/collections/mud...ront-light

Just looked again the AUX switch you linked to is like the above with 4 pins, not 5 as in the document you attached with the wiring diagram which is for genuine switches.
