Wind deflectors
Has anyone fitted wind deflectors to the front doors?

On my old Defender these were really useful as it allowed you to drive with the windows open at the top when it was raining, and they also reduced noise when driving with the windows down generally.

The ones l have seen are the self adhesive stick-on type.

Heko has made some for the new Defender which are not stick on. Haven’t bought them for the Defender, but used to have Heko deflectors on my Disco 3. Very happy with them, would definitely pick Heko deflectors over any other brand.

Any for the 90 chaps other than the Heko ones as I don’t like the clips Heko use - looks like Climair don’t offer them Sad Gas, Grass Or Ass - Nobody Rides For Free

This would be my recommendation:

I've had it on various off-road vehicles

any one have these fitted and would like to comment. They use VHB 3M tape.

I have had Heko units in the past, but like the look of these.

I’m curious if wind deflectors added to the 90 have any positive impact on the wind noise at highway speed at head level near the top rear corner of the door.

Does anyone have experience with before and after in this regard?

The 90’s wind noise in this area doesn’t totally annoy me, but it would be nice to reduce it. If the deflectors have a positive side effect in this regard, I could see running the experiment. Maybe I’d like the open window benefit as well… 2021 D90 Pangea First Edition
