I did the same a few years back removing the tank in cold weather. You can just cut the outer rubber sleeve off the pipe with a knife, warm up the pipe with a hot air gun and fit the new pipe end fitting.

Thanks everyone I think the pipe is too short now typically as I trimmed it back to try and fit the new connector.. so a replacement needed if anyone knows the part number that would be a massive help. I've seen other TD5 ones but the fuel filter side looks different
