A note from me at this point:
I did not install my Webasto ThermoTop C (older model) myself but gave it to a specialized shop. The fuel pump was simply installed in the diesel suction line (2.4 litres) using a T-piece. No modification/addition to the tank etc. It has been working flawless for years. There comes a time when you have to replace the glow pin, combustion chamber and fleece, but you can do it yourself, there are repair sets.

Never again without it!
