I’d leave it on, personally. You’ll have holes in the wing and windscreen surround to sort out. 2008 2.4 110 Utility Station Wagon XS.

Somewhat related, I'm planning to swap mine out with a different version and I'm also concerned about the two holes in the wing. I was thinking of installing a Wolf breather cover as it may bolt onto the very same holes on the wing?
Otherwise, is there a way to cover the two holes? Like maybe a plug? I don't mind the plugs. I'm thinking that I'll just have the panel replaced with a new one when some tree or rock does not get out of the way or maybe after some pinhead in another vehicle decides to sideswipe me. |

Watching thread with interest, I would like to remove my safari rai at some point.
Screwing the small windscreen pillar screws back in and leaving would be ok and rubber grommets/plugs for the wing holes may be liveable without going to the expense of a new wing which seems extreme.. 🤔 2004 Defender 90 Td5 CSW 2002 Discovery 2 td5 GS (gone) 1994 Defender 90 300Tdi CSW (gone) |

Raised intakes were official accessories. Not sure it would truly look anymore standard without it tbh...

Yes they were but it's personal taste and personally, I wouldn't fit one, unfortunately the previous owner did! 2004 Defender 90 Td5 CSW
