Typical, these things leak when we don’t want them to and don’t when we need them to!
Has yours got a tailgate thresh seal? If it does then it might be worth removing to let water out that way. I suppose it depends which way you park it though? |

Mine is not 100% watertight where the bulkhead meets the floor resulting in wet interior carpets.
I garage mine so is only really an issue during trips but I plan to seal the joint and possibly drilling some holes is not a bad idea. Its aluminum so no issues in terms of corrosion, |

A couple of 90s i've had over the years, I've just drilled a hole (10mm or so) right in the top corners (like "under" the bottom of the bulkhead), there's nothing behind them (but double check first) and it let all of the water out.
So glad I've got a HiLux now.... |

Back in thee winch challenge days some vehicles had a fish tank pump fitted to shift water out of the vehicle.
Perhaps you could go the full works and turn it into a feature..... |

My 110 ragtop spends most of the year with the tail panel rolled up and nearly all the summer/autumn with the sides rolled up too. Often has a bit of a swimming pool in the back due to rain and this sloshes around merrily when driving. Unfortunately, one of the early jobs I did when acquiring the vehicle was to fit side and thresh seals to the tailgate so this doesn't let the water out very well. I cannot bring myself to drill holes in the otherwise very good rear tub.......
