Tree Sliders for defender 90
Hello all.

Having just recieved and attempted to fit a set of TF801 TerraFirma treesliders that don't fit, can anyone recommend tree sliders that have vertical adjustment on the outrigger bracket? or ones that just fit. TF seem to think it's a landrover issue "every one is different" so I'd be intereested if anyone else has had this problem

I know TF0012 has vertical adjustment, but they are skeleton sliders without the tree bit.

So now I'm on the hunt for a set that will fit.

Does anyone know of anywhere that has a range in stock that can be viewed as the hassle of sending them back is a pain... might have to wait for a show I guess

When I say didn't fit... essentially I have a 2cm gap between body panel and back of the slider as the bracket is too low when installed the front is fine tho so the whole slider sits at an angle.

Could you not drill and add another nutsert higher up to take up the 2cm?

I am guessing you cannot send the sliders back now.

It needs to go down 2 cms and I'm not sure how much space there is, or who I can get to do it (I haven't got the kit) but it's a thought.

In theory I should be able to send back, just waiting to hear

A 20mm gap is quite a lot as you say. Definitely noticeable and irritating once noticed. Hope you can send them back Thumbs Up
