Just to let all you guys know, I have placed the order for these to be laser cut and produced now, so should hopefully have them in a few weeks (because it’s what they consider a small batch it has to be slipped in). So will keep you all posted and also take photos of when they arrive and are ready for people ☺️.

I'm having a bit of a difficult time visualizing how to use these. May we have photos of the items in action?

Well I am currently building up my own heater unit and only have the prototype I made for illustrative purposes but her is a picture of one loosely placed on in situ for the top temperature regulator flap. Once I build my unit up completely I will create a build diary on what I did as I’ve done and am doing a few little things to try and create the best heater unit for a defender retrofitting parts and using upgrades 😊

Righto Timo.

I make that as the last of the first 15 sets at £13+p&p.

I’ll let all that have expressed interest know when they have been fully manufactured.

Hi all,

So a bit of an update, Ive just received all the cut blanks from the laser cutters so will order a shed load of bolts, washers and nylon nuts this weekend. I will be bending all these items myself so please bear with me 😊.

Here is a sneak preview of one made up. I will start pinging out DMs to the people who have shown interest soon.

Hi all, just an update I have had the first 15 sets bent to shape and they are ready for their new homes.

I have ordered some jiffy parcels so should come this week.

If everyone who was interested please send me a DM it’ll help me keep track of things. I will just need your names and address’s to forward them to.
The P&P will be £3 per set.

Just a run down on what’s included in a set are the two different sized arms, two nuts, two bolts and four washers. All items are produced in 316 stainless (aka marine grade). This means they won’t need painting and won’t rust and rot shut.

This is a picture of mine fitted ready for the heater install.

Just a quick heads up on fitment, the rod the arms connect to may need slight sanding as it could have the grooves on from the original arms (which distorts them). Also if it is a little tight because you have applied thick layers of paint after a restoration (like I did) you can either part the slot open a little more or you can always up the hole size slightly with a drill (I think everyones situation will be different).

Anyways when you guys are ready just ping me a DM. As mentioned these first 15 sets I will do at a discount rate of £13+P&P(£3) so £16 in total ☺️.

Postal packages have come today and I will be posting out tail end of this week so please all that we’re interested check your PM’s and any more people that are interested past the first 15 please feel free to contact me. Like I said the first 15 people get them at £13+ P&P.

After that they will be £16+ P&P and there are only a limited number of them once they are gone they are gone.

Just for everyone with a 90” I am in talks currently with a stainless producer about doing some potential tub cappings (there is a lot more involved in this as it’s a complex item) but keep an eye out on the possible horizon. For that project to come off there would have to be enough people interested so please tell your nan, your mother, your mothers aunties best friends etc etc. Laughing let’s see if we can make that a reality.
