OK cable rating depends on many things such as thin insulation, twin core, free air, in conduit etc.
Have just seen 5.65mm2 cable on ebay rated at 600 amps or over 100 amps/mm2
Now I am not sure what the conductivity of silver is at supercooled temperatures but could imagine that might struggle with 100 amps/mm2. Silver is rated at 105 whereas copper is at 100 and most common metals less then that.
So are these cables new super improve conductors or is the 100 amps the current that it can take just before your motor bursts into flames??

I built an electric go-cart with my son a few years back - it used one 12v battery (so ridiculously high currents) and I had to buy a ridiculously heavy duty speed controller from the US to handle it. Bloody fun though
I will try and find where I buried all the wire/current info... Tell someone you love them today because life is short.
But shout it at them in German because life is also terrifying and confusing...
