Rowan Atkinson’s TD5 Double Cab ‘Captain Darling’
I was lucky enough to buy a Defender owned by Rowan Atkinson which he had built especially for him by SVO and named Captain Darling. It has some parts which I’ve never seen on a Defender before which I shall post as soon as I can get some decent pics but I was wondering how I can get an exact build list from SVO? I’ve tried to email the address on the chassis plate but it came back as undelivered.

Can anyone help at all?

Captain Darling Rolling with laughter Rolling with laughter

So is this his personal one or one from Time Team? Always wondered where those TT LRs have gone to.

Time Team? Didn’t know he was on that. Named Captain Darling after the character in The WW1 Black Adder 👍🏼

Managed to get a pic of the front suspension setup. Any ideas? Is it anything special or just a kit someone has added over the years?

It will certainly be interesting to learn what is different compared to a standard Defender, there is nothing obvious from the photos so far.
